Chair, Health Care and Cannabis Law Groups. Ms. Mints’ experience in healthcare transactional matters includes shareholder and employment agreements, purchases and sales of medical practices, including ACO and IPO transactions, and practice mergers. Ms. Mints acts as general counsel to many large practices and ambulatory care facilities, assisting with transactional, tax, human resources matters and negotiation with payors and vendors. Ms. Mints also handles governmental and commercial payor investigations and audits into health care billing and coding practices.

As Chair of the firm’s Cannabis Law Group, Ms. Mints counsels businesses, public entities, and entrepreneurs interested in entering the multifaceted cannabis market.

An experienced tax lawyer, Ms. Mints represents her clients before the Internal Revenue Service, the federal Tax Court and state taxation departments in a variety of tax matters.
